A pimp who owns a secret underground high class escort service, below a cigar lounge named Club Venus. He also has a close-knit family who have no idea about his dodgy lifestyle, which includes dating young Lindi whom he seduced into being a prostitute. He’s also got a shady relationship with his father.

When his father tries reconciling with him, JB resists and what follows is murder, deceit and betrayal, and he is thrown into a crisis which he cannot share with his wife Dudu and daughter, Mpho.

Furious with his father, JB finally casts him out of the family - only to discover that his father himself is in terrible trouble with a notoriously dangerous gangster from KZN. He’s about to sell Club Venus to save his father’s life, when he discovers a terrible truth – his father is playing him and is making one last desperate attempt to squeeze money out of him. JB savagely beats his father, and tells him never to return. His father kidnaps Dudu and Mpho and demands a ransom. JB and Lindi, each finding themselves at a moment of mutual vulnerability as they battle their own parents, find solace in each other’s bodies, and sleep together.

JB finally manages to track them down in a desolate township scrapyard. Cassius promises to leave and never come back, but JB has now lost all trust in his father, and he shoots him dead, with tears in his eyes, only to realize with horror that Mpho has seen and heard everything.

JB loses it all after being found guilty for the murder of his own father, Mpho and Dudud turn their backs on him he’s sentenced to 15 years behind bars and life changes. Dudu opts to take over Club Venus.
