It has become the family’s tradition for their children to head over to MaCele’s house, also known as Sea Park, after school to wait for their mothers to pick them up; but this has recently sparked some unpleasantness.

In a previous episode, MaCele expressed to Mseleku that increasing her grocery money would be beneficial since all the children come to her house. Instead of finding a solution, Mseleku misunderstood her point and immediately thought she wanted to be appreciated more than she already is.

During his meeting with MaYeni, Mseleku didn’t miss out on the chance to play messenger and inform her that MaCele was not happy about not being thanked, but this backfired almost immediately. MaYeni’s argument stands on the fact that if she was never appreciated when the children came to her house in the past then she doesn’t expect anyone to ask her to utter those words.

As his visits continued, MaNgwabe also got wind of MaCele’s feelings and concerns but stood on MaYeni’s views as she believes the children belong to all of them – so it should be a no-brainer to take care of them without needing to be shown appreciation.

Both MaNgwabe and MaYeni deemed it necessary to mention that even if they were to show their gratitude to MaCele, they wouldn’t get the chance because they find her in different moods all the time. “MaCele is like the weather, so you never know if you’ll find her in summer or winter,” MaNgwabe said.

MaCele was thrown under the bus by her husband simply because he couldn’t address her grievance about her house being the children’s after care and has now potentially created a rift.
